Steven Waterhouse is a Partner at Pantera Capital Management and a highly experienced technology entrepreneur and intellectual property expert. He holds a Ph.D., M.Phil. and M.A. from Cambridge University where he received the Isaac Newton prize for outstanding Ph.D. research.

Gavin is the CTO of the Ethereum project, coordinating and guiding the development process and helping flesh out the final protocol. Previously, he built a C++-based video analysis DSL, tools to analyse english-law contracts, the first semantically-rich lighting control deck, and the first C++ language workbench. He holds a Masters degree and Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of York.
